Before Easter we made some really cute paper plate roosters as part of our farm focus. We started off by tracing our hands on red card and cutting it out to form the combs on the rooster’s head. We added a triangular beak and then drew on some eyes.
Drawing white roosters into our Red Barn book was going to prove a challenge. White roosters on white paper? Hmmm. But we found a solution. We glued some black paper into our books and drew the roosters onto it with white oil pastel.
